Terms of Service – Sweetly Translate

These Terms govern your access to and use of Sweetly (“Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Sweetly provides live speech translation features with usage metered in minutes. Subscriptions include a monthly allotment; additional minutes may be purchased as add-ons. We may enforce hard stops when your available minutes are exhausted.

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Prices shown on our site must match the PayPal Subscription Plan you select at checkout; PayPal charges are determined by the Plan ID tied to your subscription.
Taxes may be added where applicable.
If a payment fails, we may pause access until payment is restored.

If offered, trials convert to paid plans at the then-current price unless canceled before the trial ends. We may modify or discontinue promotions at any time.

Minutes are deducted based on active usage. For billing accuracy and service protection, we may round measured usage to the nearest 15 seconds.
Subscription minutes typically reset each billing cycle. Any rollover or grace policies will be posted in your account if applicable.
Add-on minutes are consumed after the subscription allotment is exhausted and are non-refundable once issued.

You agree not to:

Use the Service for illegal activities or in violation of applicable laws.
Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service.
Scrape, record, or export the Service in ways that circumvent normal use or applicable APIs.
Resell, sublicense, or share your account outside your organization.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
Use the Service for critical life-support, emergency, medical, or legal decision-making; outputs may contain errors and are provided “as is.”

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., PayPal, Google/Firebase). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

We may offer downloadable apps or tools. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use such software solely with the Service. Do not modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute except as permitted by law.

Sweetly and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Joseph Sutherland, Sweetly Translate or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you input, subject to our right to process it to provide the Service.

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it without restriction.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time with or without notice. We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sweetly Translate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sweetly Translate, its affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, or to comply with law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by nature should survive will survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability).

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to its conflicts of law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes shall be the courts located in [City, State/Country], unless applicable law mandates otherwise.

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., by email or site notice). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
