Overview
- Sweetly is a subscription-based digital translation service that provides metered minutes of usage each billing cycle.
- Because our service is delivered digitally and begins immediately upon purchase, refunds are limited as described below and as required by applicable law.
Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.
Refunds
We consider refunds in the following cases:
- Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same period, we’ll refund the duplicate amount.
- Technical issue on our side preventing service use: If a widespread Sweetly outage (not related to your device/network) prevented usage and we cannot resolve it promptly, we may issue a credit or refund at our discretion.
- Unauthorized purchase: If you believe your account was compromised, contact us immediately. We may suspend the account and investigate.
Not refundable:
- Partially used monthly subscriptions.
- Add-on minutes/time packs once credited to your account.
- Promotional, discounted, or trial conversions, unless required by law.
How to request a refund:
Email [Contact Email] within 14 days of the charge with your account email, transaction ID, date, amount, and reason. We respond within 5–7 business days.
EU/UK digital services
If you are in the EU/UK: By accessing the service immediately after purchase, you consent to immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge your statutory right of withdrawal may be waived once supply begins, as permitted by law.
Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us first to resolve any billing issues. Unauthorized or unjustified chargebacks may lead to account suspension and remaining minutes being forfeited.
Fraud and abuse
We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud, reselling, scraping, or automated abuse. Minutes consumed in violation of the Terms of Service are not refundable.If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
